| Frequently Asked Questions What is considered a team or a group? Two to four poets are considered a team or a group. Does each member of the team have to perform each round? No. At least two members of the team must perform each round. What are the dates of the competition? The dates of the competition are: Jan. 14, Feb. 4, Feb. 18, Mar. 4, Mar. 18 and April 1. How many poems does a team perform each round? Each team performs one piece per round. Can a team recite someone else’s work? No. All material must be written by a team member or team members. Can a team repeat a performance? No. There is a no repeat policy in the contest. Is there a time limit? Each team has four minutes to perform. How do I sign-up for the contest?
